How do I find out if my insurance covers therapy?
Call your insurance’s customer service number and ask them their reimbursement policy for “Outpatient Psychotherapy” with an “Out of Network Provider.” These are the proper terms to use – use only them. From there, you should find out if there is a deductible, a limit to the number of sessions, and the percentage they give you back. Also, ask them what needs to be on the Invoice for you to get reimbursed.

Clients pay me at the end of each session, and then they file for reimbursement.

What do I need to know as I start therapy with you?
I have an Informed Consent form that explains some things about therapy and about office policies. There is also information on this website about how I think of therapy. You may review the Informed Consent Forum by clicking the following link:  Informed Consent Form.
